Welcome
to St. Mary’s School!
St.
Mary’s is known for its welcoming environment where your children will
be taught to embrace their Catholic identity and live the Gospel values
they are taught. They will be challenged to discover and share their
God-given talents with the world. St. Mary’s School teaches students to
have high expectations and to be responsible, independent, enthusiastic
learners who value and respect their learning community. Children learn
that they are empowered and expected to contribute to and maintain the
peaceful learning environment of St. Mary’s. We are truly educating
leaders for the new century.
Our
enrollment of 400 students is conducive to the strong sense of
community fostered in the peaceful, Christ-centered environment at St.
Mary’s. Our school follows the curriculum of the Diocese of Orlando and
is fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference. All of our
teachers are not only qualified and certified but highly dedicated,
continually updating their expertise as educational professionals. In
addition, our school is also known for its academic excellence, mission
outreach, outstanding standardized test scores, science research awards,
technological expertise, awards, art and literary accomplishments,
athletic achievements and Spanish language. There is strong evidence
of the Mercy spirit of commitment to the social justice teachings of the
Church, and an emphasis on service and generosity to others, both locally
and globally. Graduates of St. Mary’s School excel in high school,
whether it be at Melbourne Central Catholic High School, the International
Baccalaureate Program at Cocoa Beach High School, Rockledge High School or
Cocoa High School.
Our
school is part of a Parish community that believes in Catholic education
and generously supports and shares the same vision and values. St. Mary’s
School is supported primarily through tuition, parish support and
fundraisers. With parents, school and parish working together, we are able
