    The  Spanish classes at St. Mary's catholic school are designed to prepare the student to understand the language, culture and history of the Spanish countries. Beginning with primary levels as low as kindergarten the students are introduced to the basics of the language and continue expanding their knowledge as they advance to higher grade levels. 
    Grades k-2nd will learn the alphabet, numbers, animals, colors and other simple concepts related to their age group. Grades 3-5, at these levels the students will be introduced to different Spanish cultures and vocabulary related to our life style. Grades 6-8, the students will learn rules of grammar and syntax, pronunciation, conversations, and comprehension of the language.

The goal of St. Mary's Catholic School is to prepare the student with the necessary skills to speak, write, and read a second language in a enjoyable atmosphere.
