Homework: Please remember that your child should be reading for 20 minutes every day while at home in addition to the time they read in school. If they finish an AR book at home, they can bring it to school the next day to take a test on it. Math homework comes home on Wednesday night and should be returned on Thursday.

Supplies: Many students are out of pencils, pink erasers, and crayons. Please ask your child if they have any of these needs. I would also welcome any pencil donations to the class.

Wish List: We could use more Bounty paper towels, tissues, sanitizing wipes, and small bathroom paper cups.

Water Bottles: As the weather gets warmer, there is a greater need for water after P.E. and recess. Try to remember to send in a bottle with your child every day as the water in the classroom is not very cold.

Field Trip: A note went home on Wednesday about our upcoming trip to Riverwalk and Suntree Parks on May 29th. Please return the permission slip and $12 by May 27th.

Rosary: We began gathering with the school around the statue of Mary in the mornings after pledge yesterday. Please send in a Rosary with your child for them to use each morning if you have one.

Treasure Box: We are in need of more items for our class treasure box. Please send in anything you can. We use the box as reading and behavior rewards.

Scrap Book: I am in need of pictures to put in the class scrap book for this year. I would appreciate any pictures of the class taken at events throughout the year (Christmas pageant, walk-a-thon, etc.) that you can send in. I could also use a few parents to assemble the pages. Let me know if you are interested in helping.
