Genesius Rules ! updated 5/21/08 Please check edline for grades. 40's and zeros indicate missing or failed assignments. From now on, the only vocabulary cards that will be accepted for use on quizzes and tests must be on 3x5 or 5x8 cards or paper cut to this size. Each card may have one word and its definition. Students will not be allowed to use strips of paper or shredded little pieces of paper, nor will they use cards with more than one word per card. Italicized assignments will be graded. All others will not and are up to the student to complete. They help with understanding of material on the test, but this can also be studied by doing the packet. All vocabulary assignments are required
Eighth Grade 8th Grade: We are studying bonding and forming compounds, electron levels, and combining abilities. 5/5: There will be a quiz on Wednesday to test naming, forming, and drawing models of compounds. There will be a test over Ch 5 next Tuesday. Ch 5 packets are due then. 5/21: There will be a quiz over balancing equations tomorrow. Students in the play will make it up today or on Tuesday. Sixth Grade 6th Grade: Homework: 5/21: There will be an open note card vocabulary quiz over Ch 21 terms tomorrow. Students in the play will take this quiz on Friday. There will be a Ch. 21 test Next Thursday. The Ch 21 packet is due before the test.
