Please let me know if you do not see updates when you visit this site. Please check edline for grades. 40's and zeros indicate missing or failed assignments. A double asterisk indicates that an assignment has not been turned in but is not late. From now on, the only vocabulary cards that will be accepted for use on quizzes and tests must be on 3x5 or 5x8 cards or paper cut to this size. Each card may have one word and its definition from the glossary. Students will not be allowed to use strips of paper or shredded little pieces of paper, a sheet of definitions, or cards with more than one word per card. All vocabulary assignments are required. All Students are required to have a composition book for science. This is the only type of journal that will be accepted. Eighth Grade 8th Grade: We have started the Motion and Energy Unit. This unit includes the group activity Roller Coaster. We have finished CH 9 and will begin CH 10. Homework: 12/1: Bar graphs completed by Monday. Seventh Grade 7th Grade: We have started the Unit on Genetics and we have covered Ch 4 and Ch 5. The major project for this unit is the make-your-own-animal. Homework: 11/30: Define terms Ch 4 and select terms Ch 5 Quiz on Wednesday 7th. Also, the students need to make their own organism. The organism can be fantastic or mundane, but it must include at least 5 identifiable characteristics. Drawings will not be allowed. It must be 3-D. Cambridge animals are due Tuesday Dec. 6, Traditional Thursday Dec. 8. Students who do not bring an organism in to share on the due date will receive a 0/25; there will be no late organisms accepted. They will be given a written assignment that involves research, and the paper will have to be researched and written in class.

Our major activity will be making projectiles and seeing the effect that Earth's tilt has on the seasons. Homework: 11/30: Note card terms for Ch 20 due for quiz on Wed. Dec 7. All terms must be defined.
Liturgical Ensemble and Middle School Chorus We will be preparing for the Christmas pageant. Chorus members need to practice Gaudete and Sing We Now of Christmas at home. Forensics (1st Semester) We also need lots of latex gloves in medium and large sizes. Music Theater (2nd Semester)
