Rainbows!

A message to Parents.
In this coming year of 2008 it may be a very difficult year for children that have
lost a parent. Loosing a parent through death or divorce is very tragic.
Parents need to explain the situation to their children.
Children try not to cry because it makes the mom or dad cry.
Children need to grieve the best way they can.
Death or divorce is a difficult experience for any child. But the support of the other loving adult
can make this passage much easier to navigate.
Death and divorce can create a whirlwind of emotions for a child. It is critical to allow your child to
experience and express those emotions.
One of the most important thing in a divorce is making sure
that your child knows they are loved by both parents.
Negative opinions and comments will only create feelings of confusion and guilt for your child.
Rainbows curricula are designed to provide Support and Healing.
