Saint Paul's Feast Day is June 29th. He lived in Tarsus. AD 64-67 is when Saint Paul lived. Saint Paul is a patroness of many places including the city of London, England, Poznan, Poland, Rome, Italy, San Paulo, Brazil, Valletta, and Malta. Saint Paul was a Jew who hated the Christians. One day he was on his way to the city Damascus. Suddenly a light shone from heaven and then he heard a voice saying,' 'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?'' Then Paul asked, '' Who are you, Lord?'' Then Jesus answered , ''I am Jesus, Whom you are persecuting.'' Then he was told to go into the city and wait. Saul had been struck blind. After three days, a man named Ananias came to him and said," Brother Saul, the Lord has sent me-Jesus. He appeared to you on your journey-that you may get your sight back and be filled with the Holy Spirit.'' Then Saul could see again. He was baptized and was called Paul instead Saul. He began preaching the word of Jesus to the world. After years of travel and suffering, Paul was taken to Rome as a prisoner and beheaded. Tony
